A Natural Legacy

A Natural Legacy

This is what we behold

The self-proclaimed right

To plunder, waste, and pillage

All Life, the fish, waters and the trees

The very essence of what is Sacred.

A Natural Legacy

In our bold and unchecked ways

We have all but destroyed the roof over our heads

Without shame or humility

We have marked all Living Things with an «X»

Crossed out the food on our tables

If we do nothing now

We are helping to destroy

The very Mother that sustains us

A Natural Legacy

I will see hope

When I will see change

When I will see my White race asking

Asking for Forgiveness and Patience

Not showing intolerance and racism

But seeking Truth and Peace

With those who were here when we arrived

Those who took care of Her

Those who knew Her

Those who lived for Her

Those who Thanked Her

The Impatient Breed
-0-0-0-0-0-

We are the Impatient Breed

So quick are we to protect

our greed

Always in a rush for that lust

No time to slow down

Maybe we’ll just end up

Having to leave town

We are of the Impatient Kind

For others and all that surrounds us

We make no time, no mind

All that matters is today’s importance

And the rest shatters like glass

Falling on the floor of our ignorance en masse

How can this vicious cycle ever be broken

If we all go about Life

like it was just a token

Our disinterest need not be revisited

Our morals intact in the annals

Of our self-proclaimed divinity

All in us is perfect

‘Tis the world that needs fixing

Not for the good of others

But for others to line up

And give their goods to us

A shame it is that we carry no conscience

From where we come from

And the laws we make up each day

To suit our perfect agenda

Perfect in every way

We are The Impatient Breed

For everything we touch will never

Satisfy our need

nail.jpg

-Nail-

Drive a nail inside me

Or cut off one of my limbs

And I shall bleed

Just like the rest of you

I Bleed because of the violence inflicted upon me

I Bleed because of the lack of understanding

Just like all of you

But unlike all of you

I can do  nothing

Absolutely nothing

But what if I could?

What would I do to my opressors?

What would be the end result?

Not in vengeance

But in the Ways of Life

For we always reap what we sow

deadend.jpg

Dead End

a warning...

Someday

Someday soon to come

The road will end.

Everything will come to a halt

As our ways will be stopped dead

In our tracks we will stand

Knowing full well

the reasons of our judgment call

Standing guilty before Creator

With no words in our defence

Not able to speak

All that we have done

All Life that we have slaughtered

To our own agenda

All of the trees in the forest

All the insects killed or run over

All the birds shot out of the sky

All the fish taken from the sea

All of the chicks killed on conveyer belts

All of the Land Itself

Will come to react.

It is like the seasons

They come and go so slowly

that change is difficult to see

Mother Earth has been reacting

Since Time Immemorial

And Her Protectors knew this

And knew this well

They lived along side Her

And She nourished them

But what has happened?

Things have changed

She is angry

She's had enough
